We are looking for a motivated, hands-on, and analytical Market Analyst to join our team. Creativity, resourcefulness, and persistency are key qualities we seek.
How you will add value to 20BLOC
This is a highly analytical position. You will help us develop an understanding of the target markets for our pipeline pharmaceutical products and define the right products for the right opportunities.
Day to day responsibilities
- Identify market information from potential customers, providers, collaborators distributors and competitors and maintain relationships with them
- Understand distribution, costing and pricing, including payment and insurance/government reimbursement systems specific to the products
- Analyze and quantify competitive environment, threats, and opportunities
- Make recommendations on intelligence gathering, product differentiation and selling proposition
- Help develop cost and revenue model and product roadmap
Education, Experience and Knowledge Requirements
- BA or BS degree at a minimum
- Ability to gather information, by identifying and tapping into relevant information sources, both macro (top down) and micro (ground up) perspectives
- Ability to organize and analyze information obtained, to form the mosaic and identify information gaps
- Ability to conceptualize and formulate frameworks to understand the industry, specifically from the perspectives of our company and our products
- Ability to drive the work independently, and communicate succinctly and effectively
- Industry experience, such as in health care, consulting and/or finance a plus
- Analytical experience such as data analysis, market research, investment evaluation a plus
- Skills and experience in communication and relationship management, such as sales, fund raising, investment presentation, etc., a plus
